News from Belarus
ITM Belarus Moves

The work of ITM in Belarus received a little scare this month.  We were informed that our ITM Office, that we rent in Minsk, had a great possibility of being put under police arrest.  The building is owned by a lady who had not informed the local government that she was renting the building to us and the communist leadership would love to find our work and confiscate our computers, books, and furniture.  As one of administrative assistance said to me, "There is a great risk of that happening and would make them very happy!"

At the end of September, the owner was notified by the gas company of our presence and turned off the gas.  That resulted in all of the service companies... the tax, gas company, electricity, and water companies wanting to fine her, and find out where we had moved.

The Bethlehem Church has a big facility where other mission groups rent rooms, and is also the office of the Minsk Regional Department of the Baptist Union.  Many pastors and missionaries visit this facility often and it is easy for our ITM leadership to distribute the order forms, curriculum, and continue training.

Pray for ITM Belarus Administrator Nicolai Sinkovets and our staff as they continue to serve the Lord in Belarus.
